徳島の実家の庭にたわわに実る、甘夏みかんをモチーフに木版画で作りました。
たわわに実っていますが、誰にも食べられずにいました。
庭でもぎ取りその場で食べたら海風が吹いて来て、ちょっぴり悲しい爽やかな初夏でした。
I made a woodblock print with the motif of sweet summer mandarin oranges, which grow abundantly in the garden of my parents’ house in Tokushima.
It was full of fruit, but no one could eat it.
When I picked it up in the garden and ate it on the spot,
It was a slightly sad and refreshing early summer.
